Hi thanks for the tutorial. How do I create a link that other people can click on to see the document. At the moment the html link is on my c drive, so if I give that file path say to one of my colleagues, the link does not work?

If you have the Pro. version of Acrobat you can use an Action to convert multiple files from PDF to HTML.

Thank you for your video, it’s very helpful. I have to convert 500 pdf to HTML, i’m wondering if it’s possible to automatize this operation.

Thanks in advance.

You’ll need Acrobat and not just the free Reader to Save As HTML.

In my adobe acrobat xi Save as Other did not have html options. how do i enable it?

Not all layout can be replicated during the export process especially something like text over an image. You’ll probably need to fix it up in an HTML design tool or export the problem area as a JPEG image for your HTML file.

I have a pdf with text over a background image; how do I keep this format when converting to html with X1? So far my attempts have broken the layout. Thanks.

Hi Richard Hettler,

As you’re probably aware PDFs can easily be viewed in any browser. However, if you want to convert numerous PDF files to HTML files, you can create an Action (with the Pro.) version. Here is a tutorial that explains how to create an Action:

Have numerous pdfs in my Google cloud which I would like to publish for viewing on the Internet-is there an easy answer to this?

Lori Kassuba

Yes, you can do this. Check out this tutorial - it’s for Acrobat X but the process is the same in Acrobat XI:

Can you convert PDF to Word - maintaining track changes completed in PDF.

Are you generating a single HTML page or multiple? Also, if you have a lot of graphics, this could be the problem. Does this happen if you uncheck “Include Images” in the Settings dialog?

Be sure to update Acrobat XI to the latest point update because there were some improvements made in this area.
